Summary

Made to be a successor to the Star Racer line of ships, StarWing Enterprises debuted this ship as a two-person platform solely designed for military use. Allowing a pilot and co-pilot to better handle being swarmed by enemy ships, a tactic used during the battle Punished for Ignorance (which took place shortly before the destruction of Manyo). It saw minor use during The Endless War for the Eternal Throne, and was decommissioned after the fall of SWE. It was last seen in the Hop Civil War, being used by K'Ursan allies at The Battle of Tuirqo.

Design

The ship features conjoined canopies sitting in opposite directions, with a wide and flat platform, for modular vehicle specs. However, the platform was slightly altered to be narrow at the tail, making it more difficult to hit, instead of nearly symmetrical. This proved to be a smart design choice, as many ships that were wider in the rear were easy targets for enemy pilots and turrets.

The twin pointed shape, along with the cockpit being slightly off-angle, mixed with a modular system for placing weapons, technology and even a small quarters for the pilots to crawl into made this a unique and desired ship, however it required much pilot/user knowledge to take full advantage of, meaning not many were take by Hoppist squadrons and forces. Hop outright claimed it was not good enough to add to his fleet, however some higher ranked Hopficers did see it as useful. It was employed in some smaller carriers, allowing it to be useful as a frigate defense vessel, and in conjunction with bombing runs, an excellent rear-flank guard.
