Grand Sop Army Divisions
Summary
This is a list of all major named divisions in the military of the Grand Sop Army. This will include the original, second, third, so on and current versions of the divisions, including retired numbers.
Divisions
The First 100
- The 1st "In Service of Sop & The Lord"
- The 2nd "Faith in Strength and Speed"
- The 3rd "Believers of the Unending Sunrise on Karrots"
- The Original 4th - "Gop's Mighty Knights Under the Suns" | The New 4th - "Kneeling Before the Clouds with Our Breath Held"
- The Original 4th Division was defeated in battle during the First Great Hop Expansion. The 2nd iteration was founded by Sop during The Endless War for The Eternal Throne with double as many members, mostly veterans.
- The 5th - "Skyscraping & Soaring to the Ether"
- The 6th - "Darkness Flees in Our Stead, Quaking as We Light the Way"
- The 7th - "Rising to the Fight, Falling only to Gop"
- The 8th - "Enlightened & Armored, The Knights who Dare Defy the Dark"
- The 9th - "Pilots Beyond the Stars"
- The 10th - "Hop, Hop and Away!"
- The Original 12th - "Unrelenting and Steadfast Crusaders of the Everglowing" | The New 12th - "Summiting the Valley of Death"
- The Original 12th were captured during The Endless War of the Eternal Throne. They were founded again in the Hop Civil War.

- The 57th - "Knight Assault Battalion"
- This is Hop's personal division, sworn to him during his training during The Endless War. They were led by Arritz the Hero in Hop's absence until the Second Great Hop Expansion.

Division Cadences
Older divisions often compound their own internal culture with general Grand Sop Army and Hoppist cultures, resulting musical equipment and recording devices being the most popular options each season. These divisions use this equipment to record, perform and broadcast their own cadences. Often, these cadences represent the general beliefs, personality, responsibilities and mindset of the division's members. Sop and Vas, the first promoted Knight of Sop and original right-hand during Sop's early career, have encouraged this behavior to improve morale and comradery among the enlisted forces.
