Faltinah Planetary System

Summary

The Faltinah Planetary System is the relocated site of the foxfolk race of Vulpinxes (fluffy race native to Vulpinx Prime). It is a multi-cosmic-body system that exists in the Sheeshok Galactic Cluster. It has a unique structure due to the needs of the inhabitants, which was granted construction assistance by the Grand Sop Army.

Atmosphere

The planet features a shared concentration of nitrogen and ozone in upper stratosphere. The lower atmosphere contains traces of gaseous sulfur and carbon monoxide. Oxygen exists throughout at moderate percentages depending on altitude.

The air is cold across the entire world. Rarely occurring, clouds form and precipitate snow and diamond dust year-round.

The skies do not feature lightning storms due to lack of charge. This is caused by copper anti-static grounding systems across the planet, in the form of copper rod forests, located strategically between civilization structures.

Away from the equator, the night skies are kept alight by auroras due to magnetic fields interacting with stellar winds.

Terrain

The world is currently in an ice age, likely permanently.

The planet has a soft upper crust, similar to cracked limestone, likely caused by bodies of water that froze eons ago. Research suggests that the planet was either teeming with microscopic life and aquatic beings or calcium carbonate caused travertine and limestone to form regardless.

Reinforced by a tough lower crust composed of of granite. Deep caves and quarries reveal several varieties of naturally formed crystals.

Inner mantel is composed of dense peridotite rock before approaching the nickel-iron-lead magma core. The core has been slowing down over eons, causing its strained magnetic field.

Rotation & Revolution

The planet revolves around a single subdwarf blue star at nearly 2-lighthours away. An orbit takes nearly 78 standard Earth years.

A revolution (day) lasts about 50 microrbits (50 earth hours).

Faltinah Minor

This planetoid was destroyed during Hop & Sop's extreme training session during the early period of The Endless War for The Eternal Throne, and was not documented before being obliterated.

Its remaining debris forms a ring that orbits the equator of Faltinah. It appears to have been made of mostly copper and priorite. Internally, the planetoid had no molten core nor magnetic field.

History

Discovery

During the early orbits of The Endless War for The Eternal Throne, this planetary system was discovered by the Grand Sop Army during military campaigns in galactic cluster.

Sop personally selected its neighbor, the planetoid Faltinah Minor for training purposes.
