Composition

Made of thedense and strong alloy Igghot (EEg-haht), the magnetic exosuit attaches to the ribbon of a hopfolk soldier. Non-magnetic versions exist made of Athylin. It expands outward from the inside seam of the ribbon and buried in the knot. Igghot is mostly steel (iron-carbon) alloy combined with traces of 2 other elements ionized together, allowing for magnetic ability to be easily disabled or enabled on demand.

Weaponry (Aftermarket/Optional)

The exosuit is not armed when first built. Weaponry is attached to the base suit before it is completely finished, but after initially crafting the alloy into a Hop-like shape. Most weapons are autonomous. High rate of fire plasma guns, flame-spewers, and shield technology is controlled by the hopfolk wearing it.
