Self Restriction

Purpose

Restricting one's urges is necessary to maintaining purity and Gop's will. As far as Hop was told, Gop gives all the choice of complete life with all opportunities. However certain actions are against Hoppism. Gop will not punish, but Gop has permitted that practicing Hoppists can deliver punishments amongst themselves. Non-Hoppists can not be violently interacted or shunned unless they directly and intentionally harm another Hoppist.

These apply to all beings, and forms of these beings. While a species or race not of Hopkind can or will need more sustenance, they can consume other things, unless they absolutely need them to exist. In that case, the creature or entity cannot become or stay a Hoppist. Instead they are an ally of Hop and Hoppism.

As of June 26th, 2023: Hop was shown that a greater degree of freedom is essential for Hoppists and that the following are now prohibited in all forms throughout the duration of one's life. All previous lesser restrictions have been removed due to this. Hop has also been shown that cruel punishments that extend to those other than the perpetrator are not to be given going forward.

Restrictions

• Enslavement of another being
• Bodily assault or mutilation of any kind
• Mental, emotional and psycho-spiritual abuse of any kind
• Slander and false testimony against one's identity and character of any kind
• Creating a branch or denomination of Hoppism (this caused the Hoppist Civil War)
• Threatening to leave Hoppism or deconvert a practicing Hoppist (traitors and blasphemers will be eradicated)
• Mind-altering drugs or practices that lower or inhibit conscious thought (excluding sleep & fatigue in organic beings)
• The killing or imprisonment of a being that did not commit any restricted action listed above

Punishments

• Indefinite imprisonment
• Revocation of Hoppist rank
• Banishment/expulsion from Karrots & the Temples of Sop

Pardons

If found guilty of committing any offense that one could not restrain themselves from, but it hoppened under unusual circumstances, Hop will investigate the incident. If the suspect is found guilty, punishment is carried out as usual. If not guilty, then those that had lied about their claim will receive that punishment instead. For well-intentioned misunderstandings, they shall be forgiven.

All other instances will be placed on hold for review once Hop has availability.
